Hello Sydney podcast, a podcast for horror lovers. We discuss any and all things horror. And it's me,

your girl, Sydney. Happy almost end of April, guys. This is the last Friday episode that we're getting in

April and the second to last episode that we're getting in April, which is my

personal favorites month because it was my birth month. And we're talking about a movie today

that truly scared the shit out of me when I first saw it. And this is one I'm going to be

straight up front about as an adult. If I watch this movie as an an adult I'm not sure I would have liked it

like there's some movies we've talked about this month where I'm just like I genuinely don't

understand how people don't like this movie I will be the first one to say I get why people

don't like this movie because there are some scenes especially like watching it back again as

an adult that you're like oh this is like cheesy and

silly as fuck but like the chokehold this movie had on 15 year old me should be studied should be

fucking studied this movie scared the shit out of me the first time i saw it and there's still some parts

in this movie watching it by myself that made me really uneasy.

And for that reason, I usually don't watch it by myself. So this was actually the first time I

revisited this movie in a very long time and actually sat and watched it in depth.

And yeah, it just, it really makes me fucking uncomfortable and it's very unsettling at points.

But again, it also is very silly at

point. So I get why people don't like this movie. And we're talking about Case 39 today, which

stars Renee Zellweger, Bradley Cooper in his like day when he was doing horror movies, like

Midnight Meat Train and all that. And Jody Furland as the freaky ass kid. And Jody
