So are you a literature major?

How did you start?

And tell us a bit about your journey in terms of your

professional career and your life as an author and speaker acquaint our

audience to yourself. Yeah I'm definitely not a literature major. I'm actually a college dropout.

But what I did when I was about 19 years old,

I dropped out of college to be a research assistant

for a great writer named Robert Green,

who wrote the 48 Laws of Power,

the 33 Strategies of War.

And so for many years I sort of apprenticed as a writer.

And so I came to understand writing as both a craft and a business and then I had a career in marketing for many

years and those things converged in 2011 2012 when I wrote my first book.
