I'm the executive director of Acts 29, where we talk about anything and everything related to transforming parishes. Today we're actually talking about hopefully transforming the country. How's that for ambitious?

Great to be with you both. Good day. Nick, I'm going to tell you the topic.

Oh, you're going to tell me. That's going to be the cue that right away something's a little different here.

Yeah, so the topic is this, inspired by the Holy Spirit and the example of Abraham Lincoln, we want to extend an invitation

to Christian believers all across the country to pray and fast for God's mercy in our land

and for healing of our hearts on September 24th of this year. That's our topic. Wow, Father, took my role, so don't forget to pray.

Yeah, we might need to pray if you're announcing a topic like that, right? So, in the name of the

Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit, Father, we just invoke even now your mercy upon the land

that we call home. We pray for our nation, for her leaders, for all her citizens, for all those who live

in this land, that you would show kindness and mercy in favor to us, that you would

transform hearts, starting with our own that might be in need of healing and of peace,

that you would do what only you can do in our land and bestow your favor and kindness and mercy and

love upon us. We ask all this in Jesus' all-powerful name. Amen. Amen. Amen. The name of the Father,

the Son, the Holy Spirit. Amen. So, so we're, um, it's, as we record this, it's Tuesdays, get

released Wednesday morning, um, which is out of our cadence. Every Monday, we finally found a cadence.

It took us a while. We got Mondays going.

And some people are asking like, hey, where's the podcast? And it's your fault. And it's my fault. So where were you, Nick? So, so Sunday morning we go to Mass and after we come home from Mass,

the power's off. The power's off the next, you know, 48 hours or so. And, you know, it's normally not a big deal, but it's the

heat of summer. We're on a well. I have no water. I have three little kids under five at home.

My in-laws are at the house. Oh. Nephews at the house. So we were a little bit of a fiasco.

So while you guys were busy with the Holy Spirit dreaming up this podcast and not only just
