How are you? Hope you're well. Thank you very much indeed, as always, for being here. We're now in an interlull, the final interlull of the season,

following a cup final defeat. So I think it's fair to say it's not the most interesting,

exciting week of the season so far. I don't know how much you're still stewing on Sunday

and Wembley and what happened against Manchester City,

how much that has impacted how you view what remains of this season.

Can you, I don't know, successfully compartmentalize that game at Wembley, the Carrabeau Cup final,

put it into a little box and say, that was not good, but it remains contained inside this box. And I'm

going to fasten this box securely and I'm going to bring it to the ocean and weigh it down

and drop that box into the deepest part of the ocean from where it ought to never, ever return.

It's gone, forgotten, that's it, consigned to the depths where only weird, strange creatures

exist, you know, squids that are 700 feet long and scary-looking fish who've got

illuminous tongues and all that kind of shit.

That's where that game belongs.

But maybe the box is still there.

Maybe the box is sitting on your sitting room table.

Every time you pass by, you're looking at the box going, I don't like this box and I don't

like what's in the box.

And then maybe there's a brief moment where you forget all about it and then you look at the sitting room table and you go, what's that box? What's in the box? And it's not Gwyneth Paltrow's head. It's the Carabot Cup final. And look, I can't tell anyone what to do. This is your box. We all have our own boxes. You do with your box as you will.

My box, it's on the way to the bottom of the ocean, I think. There's still so much to play for,

still so much that we can achieve as disappointing and frustrating as Sunday was.

There's no other option but to chalk it down to a painful experience and then get on
