Arsenal is so good they they're scoring by mistake.

Look, I know everybody wants an attacking signing, but after scoring five goals against

Manchester City, would it even be fair?

That's right.

Five-star Arsenal keeps City humble. I think they might be the most

humble club in all of England at the moment after conceding nine goals on aggregate to the men

and women of the Arsenal. If you had a cannon on your chest yesterday, it was a good day

for you. And I have to say it was a good day for me. I enjoyed

the ever-living piss out of it. I thought it was brilliant. I enjoyed an 18-year-old

mocking Erling Holland celebration. I enjoyed Gabrielle asking Erlen Holland to get his shoe.

I enjoyed all of it. I enjoyed absolutely everything about it, the social media reactions,

the videos, the goals, the performance. And I think you talk about timing, right? There was a part of me going into the game that thought with deadline day coming up, it's going to be hard to get a deal done. There's going to be a lot of frustration around that. Liverpool had just pulled off a victory where they got a soft penalty and McAllister avoids being sent off and an open goals miss for Bournemouth and it had all the recipe for if we don't get a signing and that

doesn't go our way just a really difficult mood moment in in the Arsenal zeitgeist and instead

I think we got just what we needed a reminder of how good we are a reminder of how potent we can

be a reminder of how bright our future is and a reminder of how humble Manchester City and Erling Holland are, and their humility is appreciated. So, you know, we've made a habit of this, guys, we've made a habit of winning the big games, certainly not losing the big games, should have been a double over city if it weren't for obviously refereeing shenanigans. And it's just another reminder that even when we haven't quite maximally achieved our goals in the last couple seasons, we've had so many high moments. And this was a brilliant, brilliant version of that. So we're going to do the game. I know it is deadline day as we sit here recording. We will cover any news that breaks as we record. The good news for us from a podcasting standpoint is as it stands right now, it doesn't look like we're going to sign anybody. The bad news from us as an Arsenal fan standpoint is at this moment as we record, it doesn't look like we're going to sign anybody.
