lot different than they did when we talked last, last Friday, when the ceasefire had just been

announced. We've had this blockade of the blockade that is squeezing Iran economically. And you have talks about additional talks,

maybe another round this weekend in Pakistan. You have the president who pretty much from the

beginning has suggested this war could be ending in any day, sounding even more like that.

And you have the Iranians saying saying now that there is a ceasefire

in Lebanon that they're reopening the strait in to meet their initial assurance that they would

reopen the strait when there was a ceasefire. Their contention was that Lebanon was part of the

ceasefire. Our contention was that it was not. But now there's a ceasefire in Lebanon.

So that's immaterial.

And the strait is reopening, at least for the time being.

And oil prices are plummeting.

What do you make of it?

Well, I mean, in some ways, this is the series of headlines Trump has wanted for a while, right?

I mean, the straight open or close to open and the S&P at an all-time high.

U.S. exporting more oil than it ever has.

You know, I think that's all to the good if this is, if this deal can close.

But it really matters what the details of the deal are.

I mean, this morning there was an big Axios report saying that there was going to involve

like a $20 billion payment to the Iranians.

And I think to most conservatives, they look at that and say, well, isn't this just the Iran deal all over again?

You know, basically like we're being held hostage by the threat that they're going to continue to develop.
