Chris Patrick from Associate General Manager to Senior Vice President and

General Manager and that President of hockey operations and general manager Brian

McClellan now is just a president of hockey operations. The camps in the

press release making this announcement said that Patrick in his new role

will quote represent the capitals at the at the at h h hl's general managers meetings

and be the primary point of contact for other h hl gmMs he will report to McClellan who will remain

responsible for all aspects of hockey operations and quote so Brian McClellan

still is overseeing Caps hockey operations but he is no longer the GM.

He is no longer the day-to-day person running Caps. Brian McClellan is 65. He joined the Caps in 2000 as a Pro Scout.
