Today we're going to talk about Arsenal's 1-1 draw with Brentford on Thursday evening,

a game in which I think we fell below expectations. And that's obviously disappointing,

but on the other hand, it's a game that perhaps we might have returned to North London

with zero points because, listen, Brentford made it very,

very tough for us. They had some chances towards the end of the game. And despite an opportunity

for Gabrielle Martinelli to win it, Arsenal really didn't do enough and didn't create

enough chances to go and win it to respond to the fact that Brentford equalized after

we'd gone ahead. So in equal measure, maybe not equal, actually, disappointment on one hand,

relief on the other, which is the bigger hand? Is it disappointment? Is it relief? It's probably

disappointment. But I think you have to recognize that we came up against good opposition.

We didn't play well. Both of those things can be true at the same time. And the gap that was

briefly nine points last weekend over Manchester City is now four points, tighter than we would

like, but still a decent position. So lots to talk about, lots to unpack

and lots to discuss from this game and maybe what this game feeds into how we've experienced

this Arsenal season so far, some of the worries that I have and maybe you have as well.
