Welcome to Coming Out with Lauren and Nicole.

We are a weekly podcast where we have queer folks on from all walks of life.

They tell us the tales of how they came out to friends, family, and the world at large.

Because who doesn't love a coming out story?

Before we introduce our guests today, I just want to make a little, as the editor of the

pod, I want to make a little note about what you are hearing right now. It's slightly

different than our normal quality. We were not able to get into our studio today, so we are

in fact in Lauren's Walk in closet. We're in my to get into our studio today, so we are, in fact, in Lauren's walk

in closet. We're in my closet. So if you've listened from the beginning, you know that the whole

first couple months of the podcast took place in Nicole's closet. And truth be told, I was always

a little bit jealous. But I moved last month, and now I have a big walk in closet and now we're in my closet.

Lauren's closet is bigger than my closet.

Which is ridiculous because if you've seen the photos, you know I own three shirts.

I have to say that Mandala did say that when she found out that we were like recording in the closet.

She was like, you maybe should bring over some of your clothes.

Yeah, I'm aware of the irony, okay? But anyway, we've padded it out with my coats. With the, some, some coats. Do you have some coats. Yep. So, so, so, uh, apologies if it's echoing. It's because I don't know how to address myself. So anyway, so we've, by the point that you're listening to this, we've tried to take

some of the echo out, but if it's still in there, bear with us, we are talking very closely to

the mic in hopes of making your listening experience even more enjoyable.

But the trade-off is you get a more intimate personal experience because we are, like, practically

touching forehead in my closet as we tell
