I have to admit that although I knew everything but the girl started out in the early 80s

I hadn't realized Ben's first solo efforts actually predate that band's career.

which also means there were 31 years between his first and second solo albums.

Certainly. Ben Watt was born in London in 1962 and grew up surrounded by music due

Scottish jazz musician Tommy what he picked up the guitar in his teens

eventually forging his own folk jazz playing style and writing his own songs in

1981 age just 19 he released his first single on Cherry Red Records,
