I have the amazing Tamar Rubin who you may know as Lead Safe Mama and we're going to talk about not only those paparazzi tests that we're seeing all over, but we got some boo tests and we just got some heavy metal education that I think is really important.

1:11.0	How did you even get into being lead safe mama like where did where did your story begin?
1:18.4	Okay. Well, I'll do the abbreviated version, but the main thing is that my kids were poisoned in 2005 so in
1:26.6	2005 we lived in an historic home in a historic neighborhood in one of the
1:30.9	fancier neighborhoods of Portland, Oregon. And we hired a
1:35.8	painting contractor who was working on some of the million dollar homes in the
1:40.3	neighborhood. And we had like the tiniest house in the neighborhood and and the rest of the neighborhood was like Nike executives and stuff so and so I said well if they're if these painters are working on these really fancy houses they must be great they had like 20
1:54.7	guys and they all had like matching shirts and they had trucks that match you know with a logo and
2:00.5	and I hired them to repaint our house.
2:04.0	And he told us he was certified in using lead safe work practices and renovation.
