Barons and we are of course brought to you by Charlie Goodsoda and my guest today is Sharon

McMahon. She's Minnesota's own Sharon McMahon. Where is she from and Minnesota Duluth actually?

0:16.5

And you've probably seen a bunch of Sharon's videos on Instagram. She has just taken off over

0:22.3

the past year. She's got hundreds of thousands of followers and it's all from her dedication to facts.

0:28.7

You know which sounds boring but actually facts or anything but boring if I'm being factual about

0:35.6

it because so much of I guess our political system right now is is kind of like people rise to

1:38.4

journalist for a long time myself if you actually want to get down to the truth it does take a

1:43.2

lot of sifting and winnowing and that is the job of journalists. Unfortunately you know that

1:49.4

really good journalism though has been I would say suppressed in a lot of ways it's not the

1:54.9

thing that often gets the sexy headlines gets the clicks therefore gets the add dollars

2:00.1

and so when you find someone like Sharon who takes very important issues and sort of boils them
