Summary

On April 23, 2020, 35-year-old Kellie Jo Anderson of Barnesville, Minnesota arrived in the emergency room at a hospital forty minutes from home with the bruised, unresponsive body of her 18-month-old foster son, Henry Anderson. When police questioned Kellie, she told them Henry was known to self-injure and had thrown himself around the bathroom that morning like a rag doll. Henry was pronounced dead the same day, and after an autopsy revealed the baby had endured unthinkable injuries, Kellie was charged with the murder of her foster son.

This is the story of a loving, joyful little boy who, despite a rocky start, suffered no lack of love throughout his short life. It’s also the story of the darkness no one knew boiled just beneath one woman’s polished, perfect facade and how that darkness erupted, leaving in its wake a child murdered and a family devastated.

This is part one of the tragic story of Henry Anderson.
