Thank you very much indeed, as always, for being here.

I have been typically putting the Arscast out on a Thursday in recent times.

Traditionally, of course, you will remember if you're a long-term listener, it was always a

Friday, but the way things move so quickly in the football world and maybe football content

world these days, you generally have to get things out as quickly as possible.

But this week has been a bit of a strange week. There was a flurry of news. At the start of the

week, it went a bit quiet in midweek. So I said, let's wait and see, see if anything happens

on late Wednesday, maybe Thursday. And I think it's fair to say some things have happened.

Some news has trickled out about signings.

We've officially announced a signing as well.

And there are other rumors and a few bits and bobs going on involving some players,

perhaps going out the door rather than coming in.

So we are going to talk about all of those things. It is a very

warm Friday morning in Dublin. There's a bit of a heat wave going on in this part of the world. We don't

usually get heat waves in Ireland, but I think today it's going to get up to about 28 degrees

Celsius, which is pretty fucking hot for Ireland.

So once I get all my work done today, and I think most of that work, based on what I've seen so far, will be moderating comments on Arsbug News about Nani Madueke.

I think I'll sit in the back garden with a beer and a book, and just enjoy the warm air,

the sounds of birds singing, Lanna trying to eat some bees,
