It happened to be one of our employees who did the podcast with us, who subsequently retired after an officer involved shooting due to mental health issues,

So maybe we start off by you explaining about a little bit about who you are and how

one yet on the job we grew up things like that.

First off I want to say thank you for having me. It's an honor to be on this podcast.

So my name is Richard Fink from Orlando, Florida. I grew up with the All-American family.

My dad was a police officer for 25 years. He was he left he retired with the

rank of deputy chief. I mean he was the SWAT team commander. He was you know a cops cop. So I that's ever since I was born or that I can remember that's always what I wanted to do.

But unfortunately, my dad became addicted to opiates when I was in high school it kind of destroyed our family a little bit and after high school I had no plans.

Wasn't really going to college so I figured hey I'll join the military.

So I joined the United States Army.
