and there's going to be a bunch of

jealous listeners out there especially some of my buddies like John LaBella

and Mike Hawkins because we got to forge knives yesterday and you know it's one thing for me to go out in my

garage and try to beat on something and make it into some form of weapon but to do it with Daniel Winkler who is a legend in this business.

It was absolute honor so thanks for having me.

I think we had a great day yesterday. We got a lot accomplished and and maybe that'll be a start of some new hobby for you

And you might be coming in here next time showing me some of your own knives you forge and grind.

I hope so. I was telling you I didn't want to bring my axes because I thought that I could

make the pictures look pretty good but I didn't want you to inspect them too close

because then you would you'd see a lot of the faults there.

But I think that's one of the reasons I like this because it's not easy to forge something.

You think you just take a piece of metal heated up and stick it on an

an anvil and beat on it and it magically turns into a knife or a

tomahawk it's not really it's not hard but it's not an easy process

either yeah there's there's a lot of things you have but it's not an easy process either.
