All right, good evening and welcome to our midweek Bible study. We're so glad that you're

joining with us tonight. We are currently in our trek through the Bible in the book of the

Song of Solomon. Tonight is going to be an interesting chapter, chapter 4, so we'd encourage you to join with us

there online. And also, because we're going to conclude, at the conclusion of our time together,

we're going to partake together of the communion table. We'd also encourage you if you would

like to partake with us. We know a lot of people

do to have the elements ready for the conclusion of our time. All right, well, really looking

forward to what the Lord has for us tonight, and maybe not for the reasons one might think.

It's a very interesting chapter, a very intense chapter,

I guess you might say, for lack of a better word. But before we get started, if you would join

with me, I'd like to pray and ask God's blessing on our time together in His Word.

Loving Heavenly Father, we're so grateful to you for your Word, for this Bible study that

we have here on a Thursday night where we can just put all the cares and the affairs of

our busy life aside and give you our undivided attention so you can minister to us and speak into our lives.

Lord, there's always a word in your word for us. And sometimes, Lord, that is very specifically spoken into our lives, into our hearts by the Holy Spirit.

And sometimes it's even personal and confidential.

And Lord, our prayer is that you would have unfettered access to the deep recess of our hearts

tonight as we open our hearts to you, as we open our ears and our eyes to you, so that

you can minister to us as only you can and are always so faithful to.

So Lord bless our time together in your word we pray.
