0:07.9	We have two services on Sunday morning, and the first one is our Bible prophecy update.
0:13.1	And this second service is our verse by verse study through the Word of God.
0:17.2	We're making our way through the Bible, and we are currently in Second Timothy. Our text
0:22.6	today is going to be chapter 1, verses 13 through 18. We'd encourage you online to join with us

1:13.1	So, with that, let's get into the Word. Second Timothy, Chapter 1. We're going to begin in
1:18.8	verse 13. We left off last week in verse 12. I'll ask those of you who are here. If you're able,
1:25.2	you can stand and follow along with me as I read, if not where you're seated
1:28.6	is fine. As I read the text, I just want to, by way of a reminder of sorts, just let you know that
1:39.5	Timothy is receiving this letter from Paul who knows that it's just a matter of time before he will die
1:48.3	a martyr's death for Jesus. These are his final parting words. And as he writes them, he is in a prison
1:56.9	and never imagine it as the prisons we understand today. He is in a dungeon of a prison left there to
2:04.6	die. What he doesn't know, he knows he's going to die. He just doesn't know how he's going to die,
2:10.2	but he's about to be beheaded. And he knows it. And so as we read the text, just through the lens of this mightily used man of God, the Apostle Paul, he's penning this letter to Timothy whom he loves so much. And this is the final letter that he'll write.
