So no, we had a much-anticipated mayoral debate last night.

I'm going to go to you first because you may be the only one here who actually watched every minute of this debate.

I got through about an hour of it, but I got pretty good impressions.

I think Mamdani was on the defensive and oftentimes

didn't seem very convincing in trying to explain away his past statements and explain how his

current positions would work. He'd give little speechlets that were memorized and not very convincing.

But I just think Andrew Cuomo is so unappealing, just completely unappealing.

Nothing, he's utterly charmless, he has this terrible record.

I kind of found it enjoyable when Mom Donnie would just slam him on the nursing home thing, which he did repeatedly. And Curtis Sliwa knows a lot, sincere guy, well-intentioned guy, but it's just, end of the day, he's not much of a factor. And he was there. This is not his purpose, not the reason why he's running, but Mom Doni was able to use him

as a defensive shield very often because Curtis hates Cuomo so much and made that

evident and more and more evident as the debate went on.

But what did you make of it?

I share a lot of your impressions about Andrew Cuomo.

My satisfaction at seeing him brought low is tempered by the trepidation that it's at

Mamdani's benefit, unfortunately.
