to guide their own learning. We consider ourselves unschoolers or eclectic learners, natural learners.

So really, you know, our learning life looks very much like living.

And our, we don't divide our days into subjects unless, of course, our kids say, you know what, I want to work on this math project.

Or I want to, you know, build my science skills.

For example, my daughter has been into the periodic table, for example.

But really, we support and let our kids guide their learning.

Wonder lives in every child.

It drives them to open their eyes each morning

like it's the first time they've seen the world.

It causes them to try new things

and sparks their curiosity to explore the world around them.

It makes them run down hills,

shrieking in delight,

or flee from crashing waves in gleeful terror.

Wonder encourages them to jump in rain puddles and chase fireflies at dusk.

It provokes them to tears at the discovery of a lifeless bird
