I know you have to fill the liberal chair on special report but you seem to be on a

little bit of a journey.

I'm always floundering, humbling.

I describe myself as somebody who's trying to prove that centristism is not boring and

that centristism is also not content free, mushy.

And that's what I have a column in the post once a week and that's kind of my platform

for doing that.

Trying to also insist that ideas and policy still matter even though all evidence of the

country sometimes in that way, yes.

But neoliberal, I'll cop to that.
