of John Bolton's home in office late last week.

Seems likely, although we need to learn more, that this stems from the dispute over John Bolton's memoir of his time in the White House.

In the first term, Bolton got a scrub of this from a national security, a staffer,

or an archivist, I forget which, but blew through the final approval process because it began

to be slow-locked, obviously, because Trump didn't like what Bolton was going to come out with.

With this book, it was looked at by the

Trump Justice Department towards the end of the term. And then the Biden Justice Department looked

at it and five months in, let it drop. And now we have it revived. Maybe there's something else

besides just what was the original dispute over this book.

Seems unlikely to me, given how careful Bolton is, but what do you make of it?

I was going to say I come down very close to where you do, Rich.

The only way this is good news is if the morning of the FBI raid,

there was also an Iranian assassination squad that was

intending to hit him at the same day. And they should have to, oh, we can't do it today because

a lot of FBI agents outside. This isn't going to work. That's a reference to the fact that

upon taking office, Donald Trump decided that John Bolton should no longer have government
