Summary

36 seasons strong and no signs of letting up. That's right, folks, Steve Holman has been the voice of the Atlanta Hawks for over 36 seasons. That's longevity and familiarity with the team! Steve was more than happy to share the enthusiasm for the team and their playoff run this year under just announced, Head Coach Nate McMillan. Steve talks about the transition from Lloyd Pierce and why he thinks the team has done as well as they have once that head coaching position was filled. We'll discuss some of the great players that have come through the organization, as well as, those on the current roster. Johnny Most, the former voice of the Boston Celtics, was a mentor to Steve and there are some great stories he shares. Work ethic, perseverance and an accumulated history of never missing a game is also a topic of discussion. Trae Young, one of the young stars on the team is a necessary part of the discussion and the expectations are really high for him. The future for Atlanta is bright and we shine a little light on that future in the show today with a person who can speak very articulately about the team from experience very few ever get the chance to have. A few surprises, a lot of fun, I think you're going to enjoy it. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
