It's been a reasonably quiet week here in Brussels, as London and Washington, D.C., flouch further towards their respective meltdowns. So we're going to keep it lighter this week on the podcast by talking

about and to Netflix. Netflix, of course, is now a global digital storytelling phenomenon, and they've

been making a big push into Europe, planning 221 European projects, including 153 original shows in

2019. That has European broadcasters worried and European consumers delighted.

It's also a level of ambition that doesn't come cheap. The company reported a negative

cash flow of around $3 billion US dollars in 2018 and it has an even bigger overall debt.
