Summary

After almost a 4 month break, we are excited to be back! In this first episode of Season 2, we recap our very busy summer, Under the Oaks, Camp Ascend, the increase of Legacy Academy, and a very special trip to Africa for the Thompson family. Then our attention turns toward to the fall of 2023 with great anticipation as we believe the Lord is setting us up for something big in 2024. This preparation compels us to move with the Wind, adjust our schedules, and be willing to only do what we see the Father doing. We take time to discuss the freedom that comes with that approach to life and leadership, and sensed great grace that this same freedom is available for every leader and listener.

0:28.4	last year. We took about a three or four month break, three and a half month break, over the summer,

0:37.0	And the last episode we did was May 17th, and it is now September 20 and we're excited to jump back in and sort of do this do this again so
0:52.1	We had an amazing summer and well let me just say welcome pops we love you glad you're here
0:57.5	and I'm glad you're doing it again season two yes yeah we got we got picked up again by the network. Yeah, yeah. We are going to sort of break this up the way we did that into like season so that he is right this will sort of be season two like episode one and we had a super, super busy summer.

1:16.0	And I just wanted to sort of recap for people that aren't here
1:19.0	and then we got to get into some questions and some other stuff
1:21.8	that felt like would be good.
1:23.2	But we had an amazing under the Oaks gathering, leadership gathering over the summer.
1:27.8	We had an amazing youth camp.
1:31.2	Camp Ascend. You did some traveling out to Texas to Matt Brown's, a son's church.
1:36.9	You went to Benin Africa. That's right.
1:41.5	And then we had our school here in Mobile Legacy Academy had a massive increase, another
1:48.4	basically 100% increase of students coming into legacy. so just give me your thoughts about the
1:55.1	summer and sort of what you how you felt it went and yeah what you felt over you know
