week, and I'll admit it, I was just a little neglectful of the podcast, so I fear some of you

I always dream the boy I loved would come along,

and he'd be tall and handsome, rich and strong.

Now that boy I love has come to me.

He sure ain't the way I thought he'd be.

He doesn't look like a movie star

he doesn't drive

you may not know anika larsen's name

at least not yet anyway but if you're an avid theater goer you've probably seen her in something

and if you've seen her in something you probably never heard

on broadway she was in the original cast of zanadu. She covered a bunch of clothes at rent.

She replaced as Kate Monster and Avenue Q and then opened the off-Broadway company at New World Stages.

And now, originating for the first time, a lead role, she can be seen eight times a week as Cynthia Wilde, Carol King's best friend and sometimes competitor and beautiful, the Carol King musical at the Stephen Sondheim Theater. Anika's story is amazing.

Honestly, some of the stuff you just can't make up.

I'm tempted to tell you about it myself, but instead, I'm just going to let her.
