This is Betsy Bell, and how can this happen?

I know one of the ways that it's happening every day.

And every day, we think we're getting away with it.

You know what, my listeners, my renegade nation, and all of you out there who are thinking

that justice denied means there isn't any punishment.

The old saying was justice delayed is justice denied, but that isn't any punishment. The old saying was justice delayed, is justice denied, but that isn't

what is going on today. Today, we think that we are justified, and that's the verbal part of

justice, by saying that a criminal isn't committing a crime.

So what if the crime is being committed, but nobody is paying the price?

That is not the way it works.

When justice is denied, the price is being paid, but you don't realize you are being

punished every day because the criminals aren't paying the price for the crimes they are committing.

We are. How can this happen? We are applauding injustice every day.

And we're protesting justice. The result of no justice for all is we're setting criminals free to commit more crime.

And we are paying the price for that.

But if you could just commit a crime and not be convicted of it, then why would you think

that it wasn't a crime?

It's still a crime, whether you pay the price or we do.

However, when history goes to write this chapter of American life, it's not going to blame the criminals.
