They instantly created a reaction that grew on Saturday confrontation at a staging area near a Home Depot, Donald Trump, without Gavin Newsom requesting it,

the way governors usually do in these situations before you activate the Guard.

As President of the United States activates 2,000 Guard members to protect federal personnel and property. There is more

rioting on Sunday. The police chief during a press conference that evening refers to the situation

being out of control and his officers being overwhelmed. More unrest yesterday, not quite as much.

What do you make of it?

What I encountered over the weekend, in particular from Democratic politicians, but also media

professionals who are allies of the Democratic Party is this profound insecurity,

but it manifests in this weird way.

I kind of describe it as it's not happening and also it's good that it's happening.
