Podcast host looks like idiot when score prediction falls short by four goals.

My name is Ellie Spindigabat me on Twitter. Yankee Gunner. Yeah, I predicted 10-0. It was only 6-0. An idiot. What do I know about football? Nothing. Well, you knew that already. Look, I got to tell you, I was trying to keep pretty quiet about it. But at halftime, that's probably the most nervous I've been in a football match in a long time. And yeah, the WhatsApp, the text messages, DMs on this, that, and the other app,

Discord. A lot of people saying it's going to happen. This is when it's going to happen.

Alas, it did not happen. And I'm not resentful. I'm not salty. Maybe just a little bit.

But it's pretty hard to complain when your football club delivers a 6-0 thrashing like we did. And another very easy night in front of an empty stadium. That tune, that jingle is catching on. Empty stadiums everywhere we go. And it's continuing to be a thing. This time was the thing in around the 25th minute mark, which is probably a record. And the hoop put the ball in the back of the net, half the team did. Once again, you know, they can keep criticizing our lack of a prolific goal score up front. It's fine by me if we get six of them from all over the place. So another tremendous night of Arsenal football. I will tell you, David Ornstein had broken some news a few days ago that we were looking at a couple of striker targets,

Cessco, Giochris, and Evan Ferguson. We'll definitely be scouting them. But I got to talk to David Hartrick,

our friend from Brighton, who also does some reporting on the championship as well. And he did an awesome breakdown of Ferguson and Giochrist that I think is really valuable. And it was fun too because he got to talk a little bit about what's happened since Cicado left, since Ben White left, since Trissard left, and a little bit of a look at where Deserbe might go. And so a really fun conversation.

A guy I could just listen to, talk about football for hours.
