0:00.0	Soundington Media. Imagine something truly scary. Being stuck for hours on a trip with your family.
0:14.6	Lots of people go to Stonehenge every year on the summer solstice when the sun rises through the stones. But your parents decided it would
0:23.3	be cooler to go see it on the winter solstice instead. It's cold and clammy outside, that damp,
0:30.8	English cold that leaves a person feeling raw and chilled to the bone. Although at this point, you'd give anything to be outside.
0:40.5	You've been trapped in the car for almost two hours straight after a long flight over the
0:46.5	Atlantic. You're hot and itchy in the wool sweater your parents made you wear for the trip.
0:52.4	Watching the world go by out the window,
0:57.0	slowly getting darker with the setting sun,
1:00.3	it hasn't been an especially snowy winter here this year.
1:02.3	So the earth is just brown.
1:07.0	Brown ground, brown trees, brown, itchy sweater.
1:09.9	When you finally get to the parking lot,
1:12.7	it's like you've been in the car for centuries.
1:20.2	You're ready to get out of there. You race towards the stones. The icy wind whips your face and makes your eyes water. The air smells like smoke. Your parents call ahead to you to slow down, but you don't want to stop running.
1:31.1	The sun is almost to the horizon now, and you've almost made it to the stones. These stones are
1:37.1	even bigger than you imagined. You pass one that towers over your head. Have you ever touched something and thought, whoa, this is old?
1:48.2	And for a brief moment, you can imagine how many other human hands have touched the same thing,
1:54.3	and it makes you feel very small. Maybe it's just the cold, but the air feels crackly and electric. In the car, your mom said
2:05.8	something about how this place was an ancient burial ground. You wonder if you're running
2:11.4	over the bodies of the dead. But strangely, the actual stones feel alive somehow.
2:19.3	It's like they're humming with the spirits of all the people who came before you.
2:24.3	Or is that actual humming?
