and it's me, your girl, Sydney. Happy Friday. What's everybody been up to? What's everybody

been watching? I have been watching a lot of 2000s core movies. So for that reason, I am having

an absolute fucking blast this month

because this is what we're meant to do here. I think 2000s core is really at just the heart

and soul of what we should be doing here because honestly, what's better? I again, I have to honestly

pat myself on the back for the lineup that we have this month

because I'm having a fucking blast. And today we're continuing the 2000s core theme.

And we're not talking about a movie that was remade. So the main, the main episodes this month,

I tried to focus on movies that were remakes that were remade in the 2000s.

And this one for the bonus episodes, this is just a straight 2000s core movie, not a remake.

And of course, I'm talking about dead silence because you genuinely cannot talk about

2000s core movies without talking about dead silence.

It's a staple in the

2000s and it's James Wan guys. I mean, this movie, Dead Silence came out in 2007. So he's coming a few

years off of Saw and the screenplay is also written by Lee Wan-El. So this is, it's the dynamic duo

and their name is all over it. And fun fact,

apparently Lee Wanell was not happy with the finished product because I guess there was a lot of

like studio interference and it's kind of changed the way that he's worked on screenplays and

writing since. But I don't know, Lee. I think this is a fucking banger. Personally, again, maybe it's

like that nostalgic connection to 2000s movies that I have, but I think this is a fucking banger. Personally, again, maybe it's like that
