1:30.8	James, James One, we are in it. We're actually going to close out James One today and I'm pumped.
1:36.6	We're going to start with reading our passage. I'll tell you, we did this on the last couple Bible Babes episode and I'd love to do it again. So I'm going to read
1:45.6	from James 1, the verses that we are studying today versus 19 through 27. And I am going to ask
1:56.4	you, Nikki, and then I'll do the same to maybe just capture what we feel. Because obviously, we know
2:02.7	feelings do not drive how we receive God's word, but also they are part of how we receive God's
2:08.9	word. So I want to notice them. So let's read James 1 starting at verse 19. I'm reading from the NLT. Understand this, my dear brothers and sisters.
2:23.7	You must all be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to get angry. Human anger does not
2:31.8	produce the righteousness God desires. So get rid of all the filth and evil in your
2:38.3	lives and humbly accept the word God has planted in your hearts, for it has the power to save your souls.
