My party's not known for worrying about deficits in the debt too much, but it's time for us to start getting into that business.

Because what we've seen in Washington is that the party that

talked a lot about the deficit when they were trying to kill off programs, when it came time for

this corporate tax cut turns out they don't care

There was a trillion dollar deficit now and

Created under a Republican administration.

Which means if my party doesn't start getting interested in deficits in that, nobody will.

Where did you guys get this cat from? Where did you get this throwback to the 80s?

This talking point about deficits in the middle, in the middle of explaining correctly why we have the

deficits that we have, Pete Budajaj managed to forward this third-way Democrat triangulation, Bill Clinton-style politics that

will go into the White House and under the mandate to cut the deficits, which literally means, because

as we know in this country, nothing gets cut from the military budget.

In fact the military budget is increased year in and year out by both Democrat and Republican

and like.

And so what gets cut?

Well, like we saw yesterday, 3.7 million people potentially are going to get cut off of snap benefits to try to squeeze 5.5 billion dollars over the next five years. So what gets cut is always the case that programs get cut.

It cuts to education.

Cut to the safety net. And the next the only other place for them to go now would be cuts to social security and medicare and medicaid

which has been something that the Republicans have wanted to do forever and you know
