He spent 32 years on active duty in the Army, four years of which in Ranger Battalion and 13 years in Special Forces.

After that he got a commission as an ER doctor and went back to the Joint Medical Augmentation Unit.

He said five global war on terror deployments after that two to Afghanistan, one to Iraq, two to North Africa,

with that many inoculations going to those places you got to have more sticks than a fucking voodoo doll in Louisiana.

He's the owner of Greybeard Performance. He's also the author of HOND, finding your edge as a man over 40,

which you're going to talk about today. He's a modern day Welsh Ragnar that still drinks from the skulls of his enemies.

Thanks for coming. I appreciate you taking time to come up here. I know you live in Texas also, which is nice that you can at least drive instead of have to mask up and jump on a fucking plane.

Yeah, it's neat to finally meet you. I know we've been talking about doing this for a little while.

And going through your book, there's a lot of things I want to talk about in there as well as Jesus Christ, the amount of time you've spent in the Army,

getting your hands dirty for Uncle Sam.

Yeah, a lot of miles.

Have you ever sharded in public?

In public? No, but I have shard in freefall.

Is that right?

Yeah, so this was my first attempt at military freefall. I had to go twice. I had a little accident.

It wasn't because of the sharding. So I was actually, my stomach was really, really, really bothering me.

And you know how it is at altitude? They say at altitude, oddly enough, Farts start to have square and off edges.
