Welcome to Otherworld. I'm your host Jack Wagner. The person you're about to hear from in today's episode has requested to remain anonymous.

And the reason they must be anonymous is a major part of why I find their story so interesting.

This person has a PhD in applied physics,

specializing in nanoscale optics

from a very prestigious school that we also can't name,

but you know, it's probably the one you're thinking of.

Their job requires security clearances,

which is why they need to be anonymous, and the job involves researching and

trying to develop stuff that is very advanced,

to the point where it sounds like it's ripped

straight from the page of a science fiction book.

This person, who we're gonna call Heather,

contacted us about an experience she still thinks about a lot when she saw

something up in the sky that she could not explain and something that she still

can't explain now that she actually has the exact

highly specific education and skills to do so. I came into other world as an

outsider not knowing much about the paranormal and quite frankly I still don't really know much for me and probably a lot of people

I think you kind of assume that surely there must be an explanation for all this stuff

There must be smarter people out there in the world

who have it all figured out. They have the explanations of why this stuff isn't real. In reality,

that's not the case at all. In fact, what I found out is that a lot of the people
