Welcome to 2024, a year where Arsenal are currently unbeaten.

And it has been a year since we lost a game. This is the Arsenal Vision postmatch podcast. My name is Elie Smithy, Black, Me, I'm and Gunner. Yeah, I went for the obvious joke. Brain's a little too fried today to go for anything a little more sophisticated than that. But if you think about it, haven't lost a game since last year. If you can remember back to 2023, the heady days of 2023,

Arsenal had lost consecutive games. Well, it feels like ages ago now that we're in a new year,

doesn't it? And hopefully we'll feel like ages ago. When we go on to lift all kinds of trophies at the end of this season in 2024, still a chance to make it a special, memorable,

magical year slash season for the

Arsenal. And it is my expectation that that is precisely what we will do. But I can understand

people not feeling great today. Ask for a few questions. We'll try to weave those into the podcast.

And like, it is always a delicate balance to react to losses, to react to down periods in

the season and try to zoom out

enough to have perspective, but also not hand-wave the issues. And I think there are plenty of

issues that may be, I would say, more stubborn problems for our season, while also recognizing

that had we beaten Fulham, we would currently be top as we wait for the Liverpool game to kick off. So a bit of a difficult one to parse, but I've got the perfect people to parse it with me.
