Summary
In this episode I'm joined by Sam Dean to chat about Arsenal's 1-0 EFL Cup win over Brentford on Wednesday evening. A much-changed side got the win, but it was almost a tale of two halves as there was a lot of defending to in the second period. We chat about the match itself, some of the individuals β including Emile Smith Rowe, Reiss Nelson, Kai Havertz and Aaron Ramsdale β and how that might boost a squad which is going to need its full depth because of injuries right now. We also chat about how Mikel Arteta will view the EFL Cup itself, and lots more.
