What's the message to American families who are scared by the rise of AI?

They're worried that their kids are not going to be able to have jobs someday because AI will take them.

No, I'll tell you, AI's been amazing because right now we have more jobs,

more people working right now in the United States by far than we ever had before.

And outside of the war, and I assume the economy was going to go down, the stock

market would go down 20, 25%. It's actually up. He was supporting legislation that was bipartisan,

but mainly Republican back, that would give literal liability protection from state, local,

and individual, and most of the federal government, other

the executive branch, to a whole list of top AI companies.

And the legislation would create a board of tech heads who would have the liability

protection, but none of their competition would.

And Trump's now created a board and has nine people on it.

Now, that legislation got shot down.

He brought it back up last year when he got in office.

It failed again.

So he signed an executive order and set up the commission.
