Well this is definitely the time to start thinking about it because obviously light levels naturally are much lower in winter.

So you know the sun angle changes and light volume changes so you may notice that the ambient natural light you have in your home in

winter is much lower than it is as we get into spring and summer and so that can be a

big shift for your plants and so if you notice that your plants start to you know

get a little peek it or start to lose leaves or just, you know, you struggle with sort of your watering regimen, it's probably because light levels have just dropped too much in the winter.

So adding a few hours of supplemental light from grow lamps in the

winter is a great way to keep your plants happy or you know if you're bringing in

plants from the patio or balcony to overwinter yeah you're probably going to need more light.

So some supplemental light from gold lamps is a great way to keep plants happy in the winter because

you know what stressed plants do, they tend to develop things like pest problems and all sorts of issues so

supplementing light is not only important to getting them through the winter but

also to suppressing a lot of things like pest and disease issues. Do do do do do do do do do do.
