but you know what, the Derby is old news.

What's new news is Arsenal winning the League Cup,

now that Manchester City are out of it,

and we are by far the best team left in the competition,

and basically it's ours.

The question of whether anyone cares if it's ours is something that we will address in this

podcast. And it's interesting, right, because I have to speak my truth. And nobody likes it,

but I still do it. And that's just the history of the world. I just struggle to care about

the league cup. But once the game kicks off, I care about the game

more than I care about anything in my life. And it is the duality of being a fan and why

no one would want to be a manager is that you got people basically putting up joke starting

11s before the game that include players from like 2008. People have like Frimpong in the lineup and, you know, guys like that. But then when the game kicks off and we lose possession once, people are like, oh, for fuck, say, oh, come on. So yeah, once the game kicks off, it's hard to tell yourself, you don't care. You do care because you just do. That's why you're an Arsenal fans, why you're here, and we all care. Figuring out how to prioritize it is difficult, and I think McKell got it spot on in this game, and we'll talk about that and talk about where this fits into our plan for the season and how we've got to look at some players who may come in handy, given our injury crisis, and given the amount of games that we have coming up.
