Summary

On this edition of the ArsenalVision Podcast, Elliot (@yankeegunner) is joined by Tim (@stillmanator) and Clive (@clivepafc) to discuss the return of Champions League football to the Emirates and a hugely enjoyable performance to mark the occasion. The conversation starts with the importance of the Champions League and how it felt having it back. Then there’s a segment on Raya starting, his performance, and the implications for Ramsdale and the team overall. The big moments are covered, especially Saka scoring Arsenal’s first goal. There’s also a discussion about Jesus’s impact and what he creates for the entire attack. Some comments from Mikel are discussed and then there’s a preview of the North London Derby this weekend. This is the Arsenal Vision post-match podcast. My name is Elliot Smith. I can block me on Twitter, Yankee Gunner. I'm not saying we're going to win the Champions League. I'm saying we might as well have already won the Champions League. We are really, really good, and the Champions League is in trouble. And I think they know it. And they should be very, very afraid. Welcome back Champions League. That's all I'm going to say. I've missed it. I love this competition. I also, this was a very nostalgic moment, too, because it reminded me the days when, like, oh, yeah, Arsenal just waltzed into the Champions League and bully Champions League opponents at the Emirates because that's just what we do.

of.

1:25.9

And we saw what they were capable of against a team that was willing to come play against us.

1:31.4

And I dare say teams are going to see that and say, maybe we shouldn't come play against Arsenal because it was a bloodbath.

And overall, I think it's a great way to go into the North London Derby this weekend, which we'll touch on a bit as well. We did the instrument reaction, obviously, last night. It was a lot of fun. We had Lewis Ambrose on, so I want to thank him. Clive did his bit from the ground.

I do want to just mention one thing really quickly, and I promise them we'll dive into this.
