position where we go, I think this guy should be, no, he should be that guy. And usually one of the guys we put forward is totally random from a position he shouldn't even be playing. And so I can go back and remember a time when Thomas Vermiland was going to be our defensive midfielder.

But with Oaxanders and Chenko scoring again, Island was going to be our defensive midfielder. Remember that? Thomas Vermiland, he can step in and do it.

As it turns out, he did not step in and do it. But with Oaxanders-Nchenko scoring against England, arriving late in the box to score beautifully, could he be the left eight? I do think if Urian Timber was fit, we might have that conversation in earnest. As it stands, I don't think we are going to have that conversation, although I have seen it put out there.

We got a few bits and pieces to discuss today, including Nicola Pepe's departure. And I think it leads to an interesting conversation about Arsenal and selling. Is there a reason Arsenal aren't good at selling? Our Arsenal worse at selling than other clubs, doesn't even matter. Let's discuss that a bit. Because I think that's out there in the ether. And it is certainly a fair question in the wake of our 72 million pound previous record signing, leaving for free. So we will discuss that. We may even touch on the unfortunate story of the Arsenal women crashing out of Europe. And whether Jonas Idebal might be the manager of the moment that everybody can want out of the club because at any given time you have to have someone that you want out of the club so maybe Jonas Ideval can step up to the mantle of being the person that we want out of the club. We'll see. We'll see. There's a lot of things to get through there. First half and second half, rewatch are up on Patreon and coming in a day or so, our power rankings. I think it's one of the most fun things we do over there. If you want to check it out, that'll be out in about a day. And it's basically us going through the other clubs and laughing at them, we're appropriate, ranking them, saying the state of where they are and getting a sense of what we are up again. So the man who will be doing that with me on Patreon is the man who is here to do this pod with me now. His name is Clive. You can find him on Twitter at Clyde.
