I'm Chris Jensen, a PhD student at Florida State University,

and a bookseller at The Bookshelf.

And I'm Annie Jones,

owner of the bookshelf,

an independent bookstore in beautiful downtown Thomasville, Georgia. We are changing up our format this week. It's going to be

a little different, but we are taking some cues from some podcasts that we listen to, and we

recorded an interview before we even recorded this introduction. Can you tell? So this is all still kind of new,

but we talked to Dara Barwick, a small business consultant from Thomasville, and we chatted about

brand identity and the importance of design and the role it plays in all aspects of our lives.

And it was a great interview. It was a really good interview. I enjoyed having Dara on so much. She was just so fun. You loved, I believe your quote was, you loved her worldview. I do. I love the way that she thinks of everything as together and connected and holistic. And she was really passionate. Yes. And I think you're going to be able to tell that in the interview.
