0:45.7	village, Dr. Jan Johnson said to me, I have the next podcast guest for you. I was like, okay, who is it?
0:54.1	Who is it? And then she proceeded to tell me about Dr. Eager and her book. And coincidentally,
0:59.2	my mom just happens to say, one day, I'm reading this amazing book called The Choice for a Book Club.
1:04.8	I'm like, oh my god, I'm trying to get around the pod right now. It's amazing. And then I, of course,
1:10.3	told you about it. You need to read this book, I said. Yeah, and it is incredibly powerful to say
1:17.3	the least. It really is. And if you haven't read The Choice, it is Dr. Eager's breathtaking,
1:24.4	heart-wrenching, inspiring memoir of how she survived the horrors of the Holocaust, imprisonment
1:32.1	at the Auschwitz concentration camp, and ultimately became a psychologist dedicated to supporting
1:39.3	others and healing from trauma, something she knew very well. And she also helps all of us understand
1:46.2	the power of choice in our lives, hence the title. And you won't believe how I got in touch with
