Natalie Chanon, the founder of Alabama Chanon and the School of Making.

Natalie began her work by refashioning old t-shirts in New York

City and returned home to her community in Alabama to start Alabama Chanin. Her beautiful

textured and embellished garments are true showstoppers.

She talks us through the history of her company and why she loves sharing her methods with others

through the school of making.

I love that she opened a restaurant at the factory. That's kind of my dream.
