I've never had any runners with the Met. I just didn't see it as the place for me.

But elevated minds, who coached me to young people, gave me the opportunity of work experience.

And that opened my eyes to what the Met does.

I joined some training with new police recruits, talked about how we can bridge gaps and rebuild trust between communities and the police.

It made me realise I want a career with real purpose and it really inspired me, now I'm applying to be an officer because policing matters.

I say becoming, this is not progression. I mean I'm last time I definitely said we're going to put this out more regularly.

That's not happened, I'm doing the sitcom, Rupees Busy, so it's, this is uninteresting as that really.

Today's episode of Hear Bucks Save My Life is with Angie Thomas.

She wrote a book called The Hay You Give, which was like a New York Times bestseller.

She's just written a book that's come out in February this year called On The Come Up.

And it's about a girl becoming a rapper or trying to become a rapper.

And the challenge is that in tells she tries to sort of overcome her circumstances by achieving success from being a rapper.

Angie is like a massive hip hop head.

She was a great guest. She knows her stuff.

And being honest, it's nice having an American on because when you're British you've got a slight degree of separation.

She doesn't have that. So yeah, it's a great episode. I'm sorry this Braddock.

I could say to you that we're going to try and keep them all rigged out and we are going to try.

Will that manifest itself as actual results? Who knows? Stay tuned.
