So, Jim, horrific scenes out in L.A., thousands of homes destroyed, dozens of people

killed. They'll probably be more because people are missing and there's a roiling debate

over who's responsible for the fires or at least for the inadequate response to the fires.

You have Democrats in California basically saying, well, you know, climate change.

We told you.

Nothing we can do about it.

And Elon Musk and folks on the right say, no, there are tons of things you could have done about it.

More controlled burns, more water ready to go.

And the worst case scenario, a mayor who wasn't flying off to Africa for no reason,

despite the increasingly imminent warnings and more brush clearing and all the rest of it.

And A, by the way, why are you focusing on DEI when clearly you're not even confident to do what the basic job here is?

What do you make of it?

So I think we're looking at probably the worst and most consequential disaster to befall in American City since Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans.

And I think this will have a really lingering effect on Southern California, maybe statewide
