Welcome to season eight of the Arsenal Vision postmatch podcast, which is really just the Arsenal Vision podcast because we do a lot of them and they're not always postmatch, but they are here. We are ready for a season of being wrong about so much, being right, well, maybe from time to time. but I don't really care about being wrong, right. What I care about is that we get to have really fun, in-depth, hopefully insightful conversations about the Arsenal together, not just on the podcast, but beyond with all of you. And so, so happy to have you here. We rolled out our first instant reaction with Clyde Paul and myself right after the game over on Patreon with the new Patreon music. And what you've just heard is the new main pod music. Now, the good news about this, like our football opinions, is unanimity. The unanimity of reaction to it. So I appreciate everyone feeling exactly the same way.

The most important thing that you should feel is joy because Arsenal did get three points on opening day.

And we are recording this just at full time of Liverpool Chelsea.

And you should be feeling further joy because I think we can conclusively say,

wow, those teams aren't winning the title.

Klop went full. I'm mad at the owner with his lineup. Oh, you don't think I'll play Cody Gakpo in midfield with McAllister and Sovis Lai? Watch me. And we did watch him. And it was pretty funny. All things being equal, a satisfactory start to the season, Arsenal up and running. And I think the cool thing is it's a game that gives us just enough to dissect. There's a lot there. There's a lot of divergent

opinions. There's a lot of selection questions. There's a lot of substitution questions. So it's

just what you want. Three great points to start the season and plenty to debate and discuss on a podcast. What could be better? Thank you, McHale and the boys for delivering that.
