It's Wednesday.

Why is there an arsecast on a Wednesday?

But we're still in that weird Christmasy new year schedule thing where primarily games

are happening every day basically.

And I think last night's game against Newcastle was an important one.

Obviously a big game and thus I think it merits some discussion in podcast terms.

Ordinarily maybe we might have done an extra arsecast extra, but James is not available

for that.

We'll have an arsecast extra for you after the FA Cup game against Oxford on Monday nights.

So that will be Tuesday morning to do that particular arsecast extra.

In the meantime though, I think the Neil Neil draw against Newcastle was in the cold

light of day quite an interesting game to look back on because I think my opinion at the

final whistle is different from my opinion now.

Like I thought we played pretty well.

I think it was a decent performance, but having written about it on the blog this morning,

having thought about it a bit more looked at some of the highlights again.

I do feel like we were, if not unlucky, certainly the team that looked much more likely to win

that game against the Newcastle side who, despite what Michelartetta intimated about the
