Luca was born on October 16th and three hours after his birth, I got a phone call from

Jonas Carney, offering me a position on rally cycling. And I had spoken with Jonas about a month earlier and the team was full and they kind of made it, made space on a team for me so that I could continue to live my dream as a part of that organization.

And I've stayed close with management on that team over the years.

It's such a cool team and one that I've always thought would be awesome to ride for.

It's like the most American team in the Peloton with Rally Health as their title sponsor.

I think there are just so many ways that aligns with, you know,

just the lifestyle and health dynamic of being a professional athlete.

It's a very logical title sponsor.

And so, yeah, it was an easy answer.

And I couldn't believe how quickly in my motivation came back.

You know, after such a stressful, difficult season, long solo rides, very intense, congested block of racing where things never really clicked.

Like, I was extremely run down. I needed a break.

But once I agreed to ride for rally,

my motivation had never really been higher, so I'm really excited about it.

I can't wait for our first team camp,

and especially for the first races.

That is freaking awesome. Yeah. I mean, rallies have their name in cycling for so many years,

and they've played the long game so well. You know, you hear company XYZ wants to get into cycling. And two years later, they're gone, whereas these guys have been around.

Boom.

That's just it.

I mean, my first team was Kelly Benefits.

Yeah, I know.
